Awni Broughton joined Channel Wealth in early 2026 as an Associate Wealth Advisor. She brings a rigorous academic foundation, graduating from UC Santa Barbara with a BA in Economics and Accounting, earning recognition as a top student in the Strategic Investment Program, and serving as Chair of the Community Financial Fund at UCSB, she is now pursuing the Series 65 and CFP certification.

Awni describes herself as a sponge, absorbing everything she can from the advisors and team around her while contributing fresh perspectives and energy of her own. She is a firm believer that the best client relationships are built on both analytical precision and genuine empathy.

Born in Uralsk, Kazakhstan and raised in San Diego, California, Awni carries the curiosity of a lifelong adventurer, having taken several solo trips around the world. That same spirit drives her long-term vision: advancing financial literacy and empowerment for women and non-traditional families, and one day mentoring students who walk a path like her own.

When she’s not in the office, Awni can likely be found in the weight room; she was President of Girl Gains at UCSB, a community built around women’s strength and confidence.
